What was different foods for that night were zucchini, cremini mushrooms, and roasted red bell peppers. Do I wait til after TWT to see if one or all of them are a problem for me?

My question – should I drop the TWT for now and restart when I am healthier? I just realized today that the cold symptoms may be masking the other reactions I should be looking for. For example, I usually have a slightly runny nose, and would like to see if diet changes affect that. And I don’t know if my tiredness and foggy head this week are due to the diet change or illness. Is it mostly after the TWT that I need to monitor any health changes and reactions to foods? Because I would hope this cold is gone by then. Or are my test results too muddled now?

    For me and for others who may have more addictive personalities, the key is to eat just iceberg lettuce and very tiny amounts the first two days. AMAZING how great it tastes after a reset! Then I introduce a bit of carrot, then onion, radish etc until I get up to full portion of salad after one week. It starts out as less than half a cup on day one. When I do that and stay on salad only for two weeks, I can start introducing everything (except chocolate) back in, but my desired portions have gone from two massive heaped plates to half of a small plate.
    Think beans, lentils, corn, split peas, barley, brown rice and oats – there’s much excitement from scientists and nutritionists about fermentable carbs. They don’t contain many calories, promote regular bowels, and are associated with less fat storage after a meal.
